Our Home Education LEGO Session scheduled for Thursday 18th April will be focused on the topic of Earth Day that is celebrated on the 22nd April. We will be learning what Earth Day is and find out why it was created, discover how Earth Day has helped both the planet and humans, and we will discuss ideas for how we can help to protect the Earth. Our LEGO build challenges will be focussed on this topic.

We start our session with a short visual presentation that our experienced facilitator will deliver to the group. The presentation will provide an introduction to the topic along with learning objectives that we aim to achieve during the session. The children will be set with a short planning task that will help the when it comes to the building challenges of the session. We have split the learning objectives into KS1 and KS2 to ensure that we are challenging the children in relevance to their age and knowledge.

This Home Education Session is aimed at children aged 5 – 11 years old. We appreciate that you may have younger children with you who may want to join in with the activities. If you have a child aged 4 or under, you can purchase our Home Education: Early Years Play Session ticket.

We advise that you purchase your ticket in advance to avoid any disappointment on the day.
